Arrowlume Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to the Arrowlume app and its official product and support pages within the studio website. The website has no account form, analytics, or advertising; it serves static information and email links.

2. Local game data

The app stores progress, completed levels, stars, moves, statistics, coins, hints, settings, and the current run on your device. Core play works offline. Uninstalling, clearing app data, or resetting can remove the local copy.

3. Optional save and account recovery

When optional save is enabled, Arrowlume creates a game-specific account and synchronizes a private progress record. The record is limited to information needed for progress, settings, and recovery and does not include passwords or sign-in secrets.

A platform account can be linked on supported devices for recovery on another device. Deleting an Arrowlume account does not delete the general Apple or Google account.

4. Security and abuse prevention

We use technical controls and integrity signals to help validate app requests, protect accounts, and prevent abuse. Platform and service providers may process limited technical data needed for those purposes.

5. AdMob advertising and UMP

The iOS release uses Google Mobile Ads for banners on selected non-gameplay screens and interstitials at natural breaks. Google may process technical and advertising data such as IP address, device information, device or advertising identifiers available under system settings, ad interactions, performance and diagnostics, and approximate location inferred from IP for ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention.

The privacy manifest shipped with Google Mobile Ads declares that Device ID may be linked and used for tracking; coarse location, advertising data, and product interaction may be linked; and crash, performance, and other diagnostic data may be unlinked. Actual processing depends on region, consent, device settings, and ad-serving mode.

The app refreshes consent information through Google User Messaging Platform before requesting ads and presents a consent form when required. Settings can show “Ad Privacy Choices” when UMP requires it. The initial release requests a conservative non-personalized posture where supported and does not request ATT permission.

6. Apple in-app purchases

Apple processes purchase requests, billing, payment methods, taxes, and receipts under the Apple Account and App Store settings. Quiet Logic Games and Arrowlume do not receive the full payment-card number, expiration date, or security code. StoreKit may provide the app with a product identifier, transaction or entitlement status, a limited transaction identifier, and storefront information needed to deliver the purchase, prevent duplicate delivery, and provide support.

To secure Hint Card delivery, Arrowlume temporarily sends Apple’s signed transaction representation to a protected verification service; the signed string and raw receipt are not stored. A protected purchase ledger is associated with the game-specific authenticated recovery account and retains the product ID, transaction ID, grant status and time, a random app-account UUID, and card-consumption counters needed to prevent duplicate grants and synchronize the balance. It contains no Apple ID, payment card, or payment-method data.

The App Store Apple Account used for payment and restoration is separate from the recovery-account link inside Arrowlume. Hint Card packs require Arrowlume to be linked to a supported permanent recovery identity before purchase; on iOS, this uses Sign in with Apple. That link protects and synchronizes the consumable card balance. Core play and the Remove Ads purchase do not require an Arrowlume recovery-account link.

Remove Ads is a permanent non-consumable purchase, not a subscription, and has no recurring charge. Hint Card packs are consumable purchases that may be bought more than once and are credited after a verified transaction. Restore Purchases checks the Apple Account and restores the permanent Remove Ads entitlement; it does not recreate or redeliver consumable Hint Card packs that were previously delivered.

7. What we do not currently use

Arrowlume has no separate analytics service or subscriptions. The advertising SDK may measure banner and interstitial ad delivery as described above; that is not a separate in-game Analytics service.

The app does not request access to contacts, photos, the camera, the microphone, health data, or precise location. Arrowlume does not use device location permission; the advertising provider may infer approximate location from IP as described above.

8. Sharing and service providers

Google, Apple, and service providers process information needed for advertising and consent, purchases, account recovery, optional features, and platform services under their policies and terms. They may process information in other countries through their infrastructure, agreements, and applicable legal safeguards. Quiet Logic Games does not sell the player progress profile. Limited information may be disclosed when required by law or to protect security and rights.

9. Retention, security, and choices

Local data remains until you reset it, clear it, or remove the app. Cloud-save data remains until you use in-app deletion or request assistance. Account deletion removes the cloud purchase wallet, random app-account UUID, Hint Card grant ledger, and consumption counters associated with that account. A separate replay-prevention record remains after account deletion and contains only the product ID, transaction ID, and processing time; it does not contain a cloud-account user ID, app-account UUID, signed transaction, receipt, or payment data. Apple and service providers may retain their own records under their policies or legal obligations. We use access controls and conservative synchronization, but no transmission or storage method is completely secure.

You can export the local profile, reset local progress, delete the cloud account, manage ad consent when the option is required, use Restore Purchases to recover Remove Ads from the same Apple Account, or contact us to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable law provides those rights. Deleting Arrowlume data does not erase App Store purchase history or cancel an Apple purchase.

10. Children, changes, and contact

Arrowlume does not ask children to submit personal information directly. A parent or guardian who believes a child supplied personal information should contact us. We may update this policy as the app or legal requirements change and will post the new effective date here.
